I would give zero stars if I could. I made an order for around $115 and they charged me immediately. After about 2 weeks of the tracking saying awaiting UPS scan i called customer service for Chinese Laundry and left a voicemail. Never got a call back. I emailed and didn’t get a reply so I dm them on instagram. They eventually got back to me there. After three weeks of getting a run around and me chasing them for replies they finally sent me a claim sheet to fill out. They didn’t attempt to find the package and immediately said they issued me a full refund. It seems to me they created a shipping label and never sent my order out and their customer service was terrible. I wouldn’t order from this company and risk getting ripped off like I did. My refund didn’t go through yet so hopefully it will. I got the run around until I told them I would contact my credit card company.

I really wish I read the reviews before shopping here! I ordered one pair of shoes and the tracking information was never updated on UPS even though on the Chinese Laundry website it said "order complete." They assured me the order would get to me, until finally it said "shipment cancelled" on UPS's website. After finally getting in touch with their customer service team, I got a full refund and planned to reorder the shoes. Now the exact same situation is happening AGAIN. I'm so frustrated with this whole process. The shoes are cute, but not cute enough to deal with this headache. They lost me as a customer!

This company seems to be run by criminals. They lie saying that the shoes I ordered were shipped by Fedex. That was several weeks ago, and they were never shipped. They seem to be creating a fake Fedex tracking number knowing that they will never ship. When you call, they never answer the phone. Police should investigate this company!

Don’t bother ordering

In March, I ordered two pairs of sandals for a vacation i am taking in June. The arrival date just kept getting pushed out and they never arrived. I contacted customer service and they blamed fedex and refunded me.
Stupidly, I placed the same order again in early may (the shoes really did look cute on the site!) the same thing started happening. Then, about a week after I placed my order they sent me an email stating there was a “problem” on their end with charging me and they wanted to set up a time so they could call me and get my credit card number? This seemed very unorthodox to me and I don’t trust them at all. I told them to cancel the order and will need to follow up to make sure I get refunded.
At this point, this does not seem to be a functioning online shopping site to me.

This is the worst customer service I have experienced. I've ordered from this company before with no issues. Placed an order on 5/10 and my shoes have not shown up yet. I got through to customer service once and was told my order was picked up on 5/12. I felt I was rushed off of the phone. Haven't been able to get ahold of anyone since. When you call, it's like your calling a personal phone and they are always “helping other customers”. I have left a message twice. Awful business practices!

Steer clear

The one star is for their website and affiliations with their shipping company they choose to use. I ordered my product 03/25/2021. And it’s now 05/01/2021. I still haven’t received my items. Although I love their shoes. I am done with this company. Done.

I placed an order over a month ago

I placed an order over a month ago. I have contacted Chinese laundry and after the 4th email, they replied. They said it was UPS’ fault. I tracked down the tracking number and UPS never received my package. I will never buy from them again. I have requested a refund, we’ll see how that goes.

Over a month and still nothing to show for my order!

I can't really review the shoes I ordered a month ago because they still haven't arrived. So disappointing, as I actually live in the same city where they ship from. I contacted customer service over a dozen times by phone and email, no email replies and mostly nobody picks up when I call. When they do, they can't really say much except to blame UPS. I thought this was a legit company but I guess not! I sure won't be purchasing anything from them again, despite the 30+ marketing emails they've sent me since I placed my order.

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Bought sandals from there website store, never got shipped, got the tracking number but it shows that the package never got picked up from there warehouse, sent request on there Instagram page witch got deleted. Filing a claim dispute with the Amex. Shoppers be aware don’t shop on there website store.
Scam company!!

This Company Might Be a Scam

I ordered my shoes almost a month ago and still have yet to see that they are being shipped. This Company is absolutely awful with EXTREMELY poor customer service (as you can see in the rest of the reviews).

SCAM

SCAM — I put an order in 3 weeks ago. Received an email that there was a delay and haven’t heard from anyone since. There is no number to call to talk to an actual person. This is a SCAM. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE
